Luoyang JALON JLCO-1 is a synthetic crystalline aluminosilicate adsorbent developed for carbon dioxide adsorption. Its pore structure is optimized to enhance the adsorption of CO₂ molecules, enabling effective separation from gas streams containing nitrogen, methane, and other components.
JLCO-1 is primarily used in carbon capture and biogas upgrading, where reliable CO₂ removal supports emission reduction and methane concentration improvement.
JLCO-1 exhibits strong preferential adsorption of CO₂ over CH₄ and N₂, characterized by higher CO₂ uptake and reduced adsorption of competing gases. This selectivity supports efficient CO₂ separation and stable product purity in mixed-gas systems.
The product also demonstrates a large pressure-difference adsorption capacity. CO₂ adsorption decreases effectively under reduced pressure, enabling efficient desorption and allowing more CO₂ to be released and recovered in each operating cycle.
The combination of high CO₂ capacity, strong selectivity, and effective regeneration ensures stable and efficient performance in carbon capture and biogas upgrading applications.
Biogas purification upgrades raw biogas by removing carbon dioxide, moisture, and trace contaminants, producing biomethane suitable for energy use and grid injection.
Molecular sieves are key to this separation process.Their microporous structure selectively adsorbs CO₂, allowing methane to pass through the adsorption bed and enabling stable separation with consistent methane recovery.
